Man with book enlarged three times, to 300%. The line across the top and
bottom is clear tape I temporarily put there to keep the photo from touching
the glass on my scanner.
This close-up portrait is slightly out of focus, but still quite nice.
This is the copper back of the "Man with Book" daguerreotype,
enlarged to 200%. The tape around the edges is the original 150-year old
brown paper seal, the clear tape at top and bottom is modern, probably put
there because the old tape was lifting off (a common occurrance).
